Week 5 - TURBO TOUCH

This week we learned a very new game called
TURBO TOUCH
TURBO TOUCH involves the skills used in Touch Rugby and Netball.
The beauty of this game is that you are allowed to pass the ball forward.
This was our very first lesson and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Today we learned how to pass the ball, score a point and working as a team to get the ball to the try zone.
Coach Jade was awesome too because she makes it fun to learn.

Week 4 - Saturday Netball

Well Done to our year 5 & 6 Netball team who represent our School in the Saturday netball competition.
There has been noticeable improvement everytime they hit the court from one Saturday to another.
Their movements, running and passing ability have gone up another level.
They celebrated this week with another WIN!
Well done High Flyers!

If you have time, go down to the Browns Road courts and support the team on Saturday. Contact the school office for game times.

Week 4 - TAG with T-Rex - Game On

We have been learning the skills that will allow us to play a proper game of Tag.
This week T-Rex tested our skills in a proper game.
We also learned a new skill of twisting our hips when we come across defenders. It's like doing the hula while you're running.
You will have to come and see it.

Week 4 - Simple Machines Visual Art

Through the study of Simple Machines, we created a Machines inspired art using GEARS.
We used overlapping gears to create an illusion of distance and layers.
