Hockey training again for out Troopers this week
This week we got to put our skills to the test.
Applying the skills we have learned from our other coaching lessons.
Driving the ball, controlling the ball, stopping the ball, using the correct side of the stick, passing the ball.
We were really impressed with the skills shown by the Troopers.
FUN RUN PRACTICE
Our High Flyers this week were busy running the track for our fundraiser fun run.
James Cook High School organised sports fixture
Our students this week competed against our local schools in sports fixtures organised by the year 13 students of James Cook High School. The tournament was organised and run by the students. The event also counts toward their NCEA credits.
They did a marvelous job, and were great role models for our students.
All students thoroughly enjoyed their time and our T-ball team and Touch team were unbeatable over the two days.
Students who were involved in field activities also enjoyed the muddy fields.
